Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo Last Blood

So this is a movie I have been looking forward to for a long time, I still remember the first time I ever seen First Blood. I was about 8 years old and a friend of my mother who used to babysit me was a huge movie buff, she even worked in a local movie rental store. It was at that time she introduced me to Rambo, one of Sylvester Stallone’s most iconic characters. Of course at that time Rambo was still new to the scene but outside of the Rocky movies this is what was making Sly famous.

Then First Blood Part 2: Rambo came out… I remember asking my dad to take me to see it and I was so happy when he did. In fact he took me a few times as I knew I really loved the movie. It is one of my best memories that I have of my dad and I will always live cherish it as time passes on.

The third Rambo movie was not too bad but I was not as crazy about it, I believe I waited until it was available for rent before I watched it. The movie kind of showed the progression of the Rambo character but didn’t really seal the deal as you felt that there should have be more to it than that.

We then had a long pause after the third Rambo movie and it started to feel like that was it, but then unexpectedly we were hit with the movie Rambo… which I thought was an odd title as technically part 2 was called Rambo. This movie was okay and Rambo did end up killing quite a few people, unlike the first movie where he only killed one by throwing a rock at him (technically it was the fall from the helicopter that killed him). But Again it left us feeling like this was not it for our favorite war hero.

Now we are given what seems to be the final movie, Rambo Last Blood. A fitting title given that the very first movie was called First Blood. I am curious to see what direction this movie goes in…  so far we only know that he lives on a ranch. I have a feeling that this will go full circle and contain elements of the first movie, but some how give us an ending that will cement the character in history for good!
